I just finished a couple of projects and now have time for long walks and bike rides in this beautiful season. Colorful leaves, fog and mushrooms – it’s great being outside. And afterwards: tea and apple pie!

Ich bin endlich mit einigen Projekten fertiggeworden und habe nun Zeit für lange Waldspaziergänge und Fahrradtouren. Laubfärbung, Nebel und Pilze – es ist wunderbar, rauszugehen. Und hinterher gibts Tee und Apfelkuchen!

I haven’t posted anything for a long time. This isn’t due to Corona, but to my workload during the summer until now. Some of these things are printed already, others will follow soon.

Ich habe sehr lange nichts mehr geschrieben. Das liegt nicht an Corona, sondern an der vielen Arbeit seit dem Sommer bis jetzt. Manche der Dinge, die ich gezeichnet habe, sind nun schon gedruckt. Die anderen folgen sicher bald!

Am Wochenende habe ich das Repair Cafè in meinem Stadtteil besucht. Das ist eine feine Sache: man kann kaputte Kleidung und Geräte hinbringen, und es gibt Fachleute, die alles wieder reparieren – oder es zumindest versuchen. Es gibt nur 5 oder 6 Reparatur-Tische, und es dauert eine Weile, bis man an der Reihe ist. Doch während man wartet, kann man Kaffee trinken, feinen Kuchen essen, Schwätzchen halten – und zeichnen.

Last weekend I visited the Repair Cafè in my neighborhood. That’s a nice thing: you can bring broken gadgets or torn clothes, and experts will try to mend and repair it. There are only 5 or 6 places and you have to wait your turn. It takes a while, but in the meantime you can have coffee, delicious cake, a chat with your neighbor – or you can draw.
